North Gold Coast running club is not all about running, there have been a lot of friendships made, and a great social get together each Saturday morning.

Everyone has a different goal – run to keep fit – train for a special event, so we have all types of runners- 5k at 6min pace or 25-30k at 4.5 to 5min pace, but all in all a lot of fun as well.

Hi everyone
I Hope the week has been kind.
This week we have a lot going on with marathon training and fundraising for the bushfires, so fasten you search belts and let’s be on our way.
This Saturday morning we are running from Caffene break 8 Bayview street Runaway Bay at 5am.
Please feel free to come and join us no matter how far or fast you run we will cater for you no problems.
But for those doing this years GC marathon here is a few tips to hopefully help you along the way.
Firstly for those who are interested in running but not sure where to start, don’t be shy contact me and we will have you ponding the pavement in no time.
For the the ones doing one of the run’s at this years GC here is little help to hopefully achieve your goals.
As I said if you want to run a 5.7 or 10k contact me for a personal program.
Half marathon runners = 10-12k at medium pace.
Full marathon runners = 16-18k at slow to medium pace.
Keep in mind that I do other interval training during the week also, and if you want to do your own interval training contact me for a program to help you get there.
The fundraiser will be held at Rebel sport, Oxenford this Saturday morning starting at 9am, come along and give us a hand or just buy a snag sandwich, it’s for a great cause.
