North Gold Coast running club is not all about running, there have been a lot of friendships made, and a great social get together each Saturday morning.

Everyone has a different goal – run to keep fit – train for a special event, so we have all types of runners- 5k at 6min pace or 25-30k at 4.5 to 5min pace, but all in all a lot of fun as well.

Hi all you crazy runners.

The week has started off pretty wet but don’t let that dampen your training.

This week I want you to do
10 x 500m sprints Tuesday.
8k run with hills Thursday.
Or any day that’s more suitable for you. Try and fit in some strengthening as well, say the day in between runs as this is also very important for the training.
Contact Dale at Jump2it personal training- he knows all about running and can set you up on a good strengthening program.

Saturday 11k half marathon runners and 20k full marathon runners ( time on your feet not fast)
All other runners do the distance you are comfortable with as it’ll be out and back,

we will meet at Caffene break 8 Bayview street Runaway Bay at 5am.
