About Us

North Gold Coast running club is not all about running, there have been a lot of friendships made, and a great social get together each Saturday morning.

Everyone has a different goal – run to keep fit – train for a special event, so we have all types of runners- 5k at 6min pace or 25-30k at 4.5 to 5min pace, but all in all a lot of fun as well.

Hi everyone
Another fantastic week of running done and dusted.
For those doing a full marathon at the GCAM this year now is when your distance increases- see how it feels and give it a go but don’t over do it at this point.
This weeks program is
Monday = 5k run with sprints every 500m for 500m ( 500m normal pace and 500m fast/sprint x 5 of each)
Tuesday = rest day
Wednesday = 8km run at normal pace
Thursday = 10km run with hills
Friday = rest day
Saturday = 5km run ( park run )
Sunday = full marathon 20km - no hills and just time on feet, half marathon 11km - no hills.
Running this Saturday morning will be from Caffene break at 5am - more info this Thursday.
We will also be doing a run tomorrow morning at 5am from shopping centre Cnr Monterey keys and Helensvale road Helensvale and Tuesday morning at 4:50am from skate park Pac Pines Cnr Pitcairn and Brockman way Pacific Pines.
